Seating Arrangement/Classroom Environment

My students are seated in six table groups. Groups 1 and 3 each have four students, with two students seated on each side. Group 2 has six students, with three students seated on each side. Groups 4, 5, and 6 each have five students, with two students on each side and one student seated at the bottom.
I chose this seating arrangement because it makes it easy for students to turn and talk with a partner. It also works well for group collaboration, classroom discussions, and activities where students need to share ideas and work together.
There is enough space between the groups for students and me to move around the classroom safely. This allows me to monitor student work, check for understanding, and quickly help students when they need support. I also have a small-group table where I can provide reteaching, guided practice, or additional teacher check-ins.
